Jackie and Jimmy - November 8, 2008
Jackie's wedding day did not get off on the right foot, pun intended. She actually broke her foot the night before and we arrived at her house the next morning to find her with an ice pack on her foot, lamenting the fact that she would not be able to wear her Jimmy Choo's. But Jackie was determined to make the best of it and a few pain killers later, we were under way despite the injury and heavy downpours.

Here's a nice candid of Jimmy and his brother. Their family is very close and the day was a mix of laughter and tears.

The rain held up long enough for us to get this cool petal drop shot outside the church.

Jackie and Jimmy in their high-class 2008 Rolls Royce.

Their reception was held at Flowerfield in St James, NY. We had to take all of the formal pictures inside due to darkness and the rain, but the location worked out well.

Love this beautiful shot of Jackie. She doesn't look like she's in pain...

Family was a big part of their day and you could tell that they love and care for each other very much. This shot is of Jackie's grandmother reaching out to Jimmy during their first dance.

Jessica and Frank - Engagement photos
Jessica and Frank are getting married in February so we had to get their engagement pictures done before it got too cold. We set out to shoot in Central Park thinking late afternoon on Marathon Sunday wouldn't be too bad. We were wrong. The area around the park was just packed. So we moved our shoot to Battery Park, which turned out to be a great location. We arrived just before a spectacular sunset.

This shot is just under the Holocaust Museum with a great view of the Statue of Liberty in the background.

Sunset at Battery Park is a great time to catch a cruise ship leaving port.

Clara and Marcos - October 24, 2008
Clara & Marcos met each other before their ceremony for pictures at TriBeCa Rooftop near the entrance to the Holland Tunnel in lower Manhattan. We started with a few shots of the guys on the roof until the girls arrived.

We found this cool alley down at street level on Desbrosses St. for some shots of Clara and Marcos alone.

The ceremony began at sunset at TriBeCa Rooftop. This shot is of Clara making her way down the grand staircase for the start of the ceremony.

Were married! Let's party!

The catering was excellent. Lot's of great sushi and shellfish. Special thanks to Tracey from Polka Dot Events for pulling everything together.

The table settings were beautiful.

Of course we had to do a night shot on the roof.

Sofia and Kevin - October 18, 2008
Sofia and Kevin's wedding day couldn't have been better. The weather was perfect, the locations and decor were spectacular and the people were a lot of fun. They both got ready at their reception location, the Hilton Woodcliff Lake in Bergen County, NJ. Late fall is such a great time of year to be in North Jersey and the trees were all at peak color.

Sofia and Kevin have impeccable taste and it was reflected in every ascpect of their day. So let's start with the shoes. Christian Louboutin of course, with their trademark red soles.

Sofia had a piece of jewelry from each of her grandmothers attached to her bouquet. What a great idea and a sweet gesture.
The florist, Stephanie and Lambros of Allendale Flowers in Allendale, NJ, did a great job with the bouquets and the table centerpieces at the reception.

It took quite a few hands to get Sofia's pearls just right.

Love this glam shot of the girls in the Hilton lounge.

This one has a very "Breakfast at Tiffany's" look to it. Love it!

Sofia and Kevin's ceremony was traditional Greek.

The natural sunlight coming through the windows was perfectly situated for the ceremony pictures.

There was a park just behind the church which turned out to be a great spot for portraits. This one of the girls was Sofia's idea with an added twist from Michael.

Notice the birds watching atop the church roof.

This is a shot of the sign-in book we created using Sofia & Kevin's engagement pics.

Sofia & Kevin's table settings were elegant and cozy.

The real "money shot", in true Greek tradition.

There's a lot more to see so check out the slideshow below.

Dawn and Nick - October 12, 2008
So, if you follow our web site journal frequently you might remember Royce's wedding back in March - Royce was Amy's (6/17/07) MOH. So Dawn is Royce's sister. Oh, and Dawn's MOH is Lindsey and we shot Lindsey and David's engagement pics yesterday (see those below), and Lindsey and David's wedding is in December.

Try to keep up.

Dawn and Nick got ready at the Hilton Garden Inn in Westbury, NY on what was a beautiful fall day.

Love this shot of Dawn during her makeup session. Beautiful!

A cool shot of the guys courtesy of Marek.

Dawn and Nick's ceremony and reception were held at The Carltun in East Meadow, NY. The day was filled with a lot of their quirky personalities and it showed in the details of their decor; starting with the PEZ dispenser table cards, custom ordered from the factory.

Smiley faced Yarmulka's. Dawn originally wanted true yellow and black smiley's but Mom won that one.

Their floral was impeccably done by Spitz and Peck with truly unique flowers and an abundance of fall color. This shot shows the amazing hupa and ceremony area.

Here's a nice shot in the gardens at The Carltun showing Dawn's bouquet.

Marge and Homer topped their cake!

The band "Vision" was from the Franklin Wayne Music Group and they rocked the house all night long.

It's not every day that the bride chomps dollar bills from her Father-in-Law's shirt.

Dawn and Lindsey. Awwwww...

Lindsey and David's Engagement - October 2008
We had a great day in Central Park for Lindsey and David's engagement pcitures. Their wedding is at Capitale in NYC in December. Capitale is a really cool venue with a lot of history. We squeezed in the shoot the day before Lindsey was MOH in Dawn's wedding party (10/12/08 above). We were lucky to have two beautiful weekend days in a row.

This shot was taken in one of our favorite locations in the park, Shakespeare Gardens.

This guy on Bow Bridge is not a statue, he's real.

Love this quiet moment on the bridge.

A dramatic shot in the tunnel at Bethesda Terrace.

Love this one too.

We look for funny coincidences like this one that make us laugh.

Jennifer and Tom - October 3, 2008
Jennifer and Tom’s wedding ceremony was held at a quaint church nestled in the Long Island Pine Barrens in Wading River, NY on a picture perfect autumn day.

Jennifer and Tom’s reception was held at Hamlet Willow Creek in Mt. Sinai, NY. We arrived just in time for a few sunset shots on the golf course. For the golfers out there, the golf course is one of the best on Long Island and is always in great shape. It’s a real challenge and plays 6311/130/71.1 from the blues. Hamlet Windwatch, its sister course in Hauppauge, is also a real treat. Both have GPS built into the carts so first timers can get the lay of the land with ease.

Jennifer set up a nice tribute to her late father, complete with a Mets jersey as a sign-in memento.

Caroline and Brian - September 27, 2008
Caroline and Brian's wedding day was supposed to include an outdor ceremony at the waterfront venue Davenport Club in New Rochelle, NY. However, the weather did not fully cooperate. But, we made the best of it and still got some great pictures.

Caroline and her bridesmaids got ready in the bridal suite.

They met before the ceremony on the beach for some photos. We managed to get some great shots before the rain came.

We all cozied up to the fireplace in the library for an intimate ceremony indoors.

Here's a cool shot at night in front of the Davenport.

Wendy and Cesar - August 31, 2008
If you are a regular visitor to our web site, you might remember Ana and Ed from June 2006. We got to spend another happy day with Ana’s family, this time with her brother Cesar. Cesar and his fiancée started their wedding day at the Glen Cove Mansion in Glen Cove, NY.

Love the hair clip Wendy chose.

A cute shot on the grand staircase.

Cesar rockin’ it, mansion style.

Wendy and Cesar had a beautiful day with clear blue skies, perfect for their outdoor ceremony at Leonard’s La Dolce Vita in Great Neck, NY.

A serious moment during the intimate ceremony.

A couple of fun portraits.

Colleen and Anthony - August 16, 2008
Well, Bay Shore was rockin' once again this weekend for Colleen and Anthony's wedding. After a wild ceremony at St. Pat's, complete with unwelcome flying guests we headed to the Brightwaters canal for some cool photos by the sea.

Colleen and Anthony win the prize this season for the largest bridal party.

Peat Moss and the Fertilizers were the entertainment for the reception at Captain Bill's Bayview House. They kept the party moving in high gear all night long.

A nice sunset shot by the pier.
