Sofia and Kevin's Engagement - May 2008
We had a great day shooting with Sofia and Kevin today. We started on Wall Street in lower Manhattan and then worked our way over to the South Street Seaport and finally over to the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge. They are such a fun couple and really made the shoot easy. We're very proud of the results and hope you enjoy viewing their slideshow below.

Rachel and Justin - May 4, 2008
Rachel and Justin's wedding day was held at the New York Botanical Gardens in Bronx, NY on a picturesque spring day. The tulips were almost past full bloom but hung around in all their glory to make for the perfect backdrop to our photography. The ceremony was held outside under a cherry-blossom-dressed hupa. We even managed to get a little timely cloud cover to avoid glaring full sun during the cermony. Enjoy some of their images and slideshow below.

Ann Marie and Michael - May 3, 2008
Annmarie and Michael's wedding and reception was held at Chateau La Mer in Lindenhurst, NY. We had a lot of fun with this lively family. We especially loved their floral arrangements and really cool wedding cake, even though it arrived a little late.

Love this candid moment by the fireplace.

Michelle and David's Rehearsal Dinner - May 2, 2008
It's not often that our schedule permits shooting a rehearsal dinner, but this time it worked out. And we are glad it did. Michelle and David are a hip couple and a lot of fun. Their wedding planner, Allison Cozzini of Lindsay Landman Events, chose Kittichai restaurant in Soho, Manhattan as their dinner location. The place is ultra hip and the food is top-notch.

A reflecting pool in the middle of the restaurant with floating candles and orchids that appear to float in thin air.

Mojito heaven.

Exquisite hors d'ouvres.

Time for some toasts.

And a few portraits after dark.

(WE) MUST LOVE DOGS!
We really do love dogs. A lot of our couples do too. Whenever we encounter one of our four-legged friends, we always take a pic!
We thought we would share some of them with you. The first two are Michael and his wife Chris Ann's "kids".

Maria and Rob - March 29, 2008
Maria and Rob have a special connection to Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay, NY. This shot was taken on the south side of Coe Hall in the heart of the arboretum, after their ceremony. The Arboretum is a popular spot for wedding photography; so much so that some days you could find up to four brides at once. This day, early in the season, we had the place to ourselves.

Royce and Chad - March 8, 2008
Royce and Chad's wedding day was held at the newly renovated event space at Temple Israel of Lawrence, NY. The space features a long hallway dressed in mirrors, red walls, hip furniture and wall-sized prints. We were lucky to have such a cool interior to shoot in because outside was rainy all day.

This shot tricks the eye because it was taken in between two mirrors, one on the wall in front of Royce and Chad and one on the wall behind them. This is why you can see so many reflections. Michael says the real trick was taking the picture without revealing himself in the mirrors.

There are so many great shots from this special couple's wedding. Check out Royce & Chad's wedding slideshow by clicking below.

Web Site Cover Photo - January 2008

We're starting off the new year with an image of Jennifer and Daniel that faithfully represents how far professional digital camera technology has come. The low-light sensitivity of the latest technology from Nikon allows us to achieve superb image quality in near-darkness. It doesn't hurt to have a beautiful couple, of course. This image was shot in front of Westbury Manor in Westbury, NY, well after sunset.
