Amy and Brian - June 17, 2007
Amy and Brian's wedding was held entirely at Temple Beth El in Cedarhurst, NY. The location is equipped to accommodate a large wedding from ceremony to cocktail to the grand ballroom. The ambiance is classy and the food is top-notch.

A quiet moment with Amy just before the ceremony.

The happy couple under their beautifully decorated hupa.

Love this dance shot under the grand chandelier.

June 2007 - Web site cover photo
For a change, this month's photo features an engagement photo. The photo is of Amy and Brian and was taken at Bethesda Terrace in Central Park, NY. The photo technique is a silhouette shot and looks dramatic and romantic (we think).

Danielle and Kevin - May 28, 2007
Danielle and Kevin were married at St. Patrick's Church in Bayshore. The weather held out for most of the day, which gave us time to go to Argyle Park for some cool portraits after the ceremony.

Danielle and Kevin's reception was held at the Venetian Yacht Club on the Great South Bay of Long Island.

Kevin and his groomsmen were a cool bunch. Here's a cool pic of them on top of Kevin's pickup.

Liz and Adam - May 27, 2007
Liz and Adam's ceremony and reception were held at the Museum Of The City Of New York in Manhattan. Our friend Elaine from Exquisite Events planned the whole event. Liz and her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done at Allure Day Spa and then were off to Liz and Adam's apartment on the Upper East Side to get dressed.

We had some time before the ceremony to take some pictures in the Conservatory Gardens of Central Park.

Amy and Brian Engagement Session - April, 2007
Engagement portrait sessions are always fun and this one was no exception. It was another spectacular day in Central Park. Amy and Brian are truly in love and we were glad we could faithfully represent this in their photos. We look forward to photographing their wedding in June.

Lauren and Dylan - March 24, 2007
Lauren and Dylan's ceremony and reception were held at the Sunningdale Country Club in Scarsdale, NY.

Lauren's hair and makeup looked just perfect.

The ceremony included a beautiful mix of both of their faiths, while preserving family traditions.

To wrap up the evening, Dylan gave his bride a surprise acoustic performance of Bruce Springsteen's Jersey Girl.

New look for our Journal!
Hey, did you notice our new look? We've changed our Journal to a white background which we think really makes our images pop! Also, starting with the latest entry, we've moved to a much larger image size. We look forward to posting some great shots in the near future as we move into the full swing of our 2007 season. Stay tuned!!

February 2007 - Web site cover photo
This month's photo is from Jennifer and Andrew's wedding. This shot was taken by Michael at Gerry Park in Roslyn, NY. The couple agreed to meet before their wedding ceremony so we would have time to go to the park and grab some photos in daylight. The shot was taken minutes after they first saw each other that day and their joy and outright exuberance made for this great candid photo. The shot proves that even subjects that are "camera-aware" can still be caught off-guard in truly real moments.

Jennifer and Andrew - February 18, 2007
Jennifer and Andrew’s wedding day began where it ended, at the Roslyn Claremont Hotel in Roslyn, NY. After their preparations in separate rooms, they met in the hotel library room for a few family photos. We then stole away with just Jennifer and Andrew to the nearby Gerry Park for a few photos in the snow-covered park and duck pond. Jennifer was giddy with happiness and her joy was infectious. It was a pleasure to shoot this happy couple all day long.

Miriam and Tony - February 11, 2007
Miriam and Tony's wedding day preparations began at the Garden City Hotel. It was a crisp February day, but a bearable 38 degrees at midday. Miriam was ready early and her dress, shoes and veil were laid out and ready to put on as we arrived. She was in a great mood and enjoyed the extra time we had to photograph just her.

The church ceremony was traditional Greek and was held at a church just a few blocks away from the hotel. After the ceremony, we accompanied the bride and groom to their reception at the DeSeversky Conference Center; a turn-of-the-century mansion deep in the woods of Old Brookville, NY. While the late afternoon brought a bit of a chill to the air, Miriam and Tony braved the few minutes outside the mansion for some “cool” shots.
